Job Description

We are seeking a field-based Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer with a bias towards refrigeration, who will cover customer outlets predominately in the North East and ideally lives in the teeside area. The purpose of the role will be to carry out planned and reactive refrigeration and Air Conditioning maintenance tasks safely, and to the highest standard. You will proactively diagnose and identify faults and failures with equipment to provide effective solutions. Together with the rest of our field team you’ll be responsible for helping our customers ensure their stores are trading to full capacity.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Delivering PPM schedules within agreed timeframes and to budget

• Effectively diagnose and identify faults and failures with equipment and systems and provide effective solutions and escalate where necessary.

• Help drive performance improvements in customer service, operational services and productivity, asset uptime and first-time fix.

• Carry out planned and reactive Refrigeration and Air Conditioning maintenance tasks safely, and to the highest standard.

This will involve working 40 +hrs per week and working on call out rota covering evenings & weekends

To be successful in this role you will have

• C&G 2079 F-Gas qualification including Hydrocarbons

• Full UK driving license

• Significant experience ideally gained in the retail environment

• Excellent communication skills, ability to influence and use diplomacy with clients and colleagues

• Salary: £35,000.00 to £40,000.00 /year dependant on experience
