Regional Manager – Care Homes

Location: North West – covering Preston, Blackpool, Huyton, Eccles & Leyland
Salary: Circa £70,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, Permanent
RGN qualification preferred

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Regional Manager to oversee a portfolio of care homes across the North West.

This is a senior operational role requiring a strong leader who can drive quality, compliance, occupancy and commercial performance across multiple services while supporting Home Managers to deliver the highest standards of care.

The Role

• Provide operational leadership across a portfolio of care homes
• Support, coach and develop Home Managers
• Drive high standards of care, quality and resident experience
• Ensure services remain compliant with CQC requirements
• Monitor performance and implement improvement plans where required
• Oversee budgets, staffing, agency usage and commercial performance
• Support homes to maintain and improve occupancy
• Monitor safeguarding, complaints, audits and clinical governance
• Recruit and retain strong management teams
• Work closely with senior leadership to achieve regional objectives

About You

• Proven Regional Manager or multi-site management experience within the care sector
• Strong background within nursing and/or residential care homes
• RGN with current NMC registration is highly desirable
• Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance
• Strong commercial and financial awareness
• Proven ability to improve quality and operational performance
• Confident managing and developing Home Managers
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel across the region
