CENTRE LATHE TURNER / SEMI-CNC COMBINATION LATHE TURNER

The Opportunity

Due to pending retirement and an increasing order book, our client is now looking to recruit an experienced CENTRE LATHE TURNER / SEMI-CNC COMBINATION LATHE TURNER.

Candidate Requirements

All Candidates must be Time Served and have served a recognized apprenticeship in a precision engineering environment, ideally in the Blow or Injection die and mould industry but not essential.

We are ideally looking for an exceptional Centre Lathe Turner with experience of working in a Precision Engineering environment on Manual Centre Lathes and has had experience of working on a large capacity Combination CNC / Manual Lathe, ideally Gildermeister with Heidenhain controls although similar types of lathes would be acceptable as training will be given to the right candidate.

Main Duties

Main duties would include, producing precision turned components to supplied drawings, inspection of own work and applying knowledge of materials and machining methods.
