The Role
Online Home Shop are looking to recruit an experienced and driven Inbound Shift Manager to oversee the evening inbound warehouse operation within a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the inbound team, ensuring all stock is received, processed, and put away efficiently whilst maintaining high standards of productivity, accuracy, and Health & Safety.
This is a hands-on management role suited to someone who can lead from the front, motivate teams, and manage warehouse operations effectively during the afternoon/evening shift.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the inbound warehouse operation on shift
Supervising warehouse operatives and team leaders
Ensuring inbound deliveries are unloaded and processed efficiently
Monitoring KPIs, productivity, and accuracy levels
Managing staffing levels and workflow across the shift
Conducting shift briefings and supporting team performance
Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times
Investigating stock discrepancies and operational issues
Supporting continuous improvement within warehouse operations
Working closely with senior management and other departments
Requirements
Previous experience within a warehouse management or shift management role
Experience within e-commerce, distribution, logistics, or warehousing preferred
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage teams within a fast-paced environment
Good understanding of warehouse KPIs and operational performance
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
Confident managing staff performance and productivity
Desirable
WMS system experience
Experience within high-volume inbound operations
FLT knowledge or warehouse systems understanding
