Position: Cleanroom Installation Manager

Reporting to: Projects Director/ Associate Operations Director/Associate Manufacturing Director

Salary: TBC – dependent on experience

Job type: Permanent (subject to a six-month probation period)

Holiday: 31 days including Bank Holidays (three days over Christmas mandatory)

Pension: 6% company contributions

tightly controlled manufacturing facilities (cleanrooms) across the country for the Life Science sector for

industries such as Pharmaceutical, Aerospace, Automotive & Medical Device. The business is doubling in size

The Cleanroom Installation Manager is responsible for the safe, compliant and high-quality delivery of

cleanroom installation works on site. The role provides day-to-day leadership of installation activities, coordination

of subcontractors and assurance that works are delivered in line with programme, specification and

company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Health, Safety & Compliance

1. Complete and maintain all site Health & Safety documentation, including weekly site inspections,

RAMS briefings, MEWP checks, and statutory records.

2. Lead and deliver site inductions for all operatives and subcontractors, using either client-specific

systems or internal Guardtech processes.

3. Ensure full compliance with CDM Regulations, company H&S procedures, and client requirements at

all times.

4. Promptly identify, report, and rectify hazardous situations that may impact health & safety, quality, or

the environment.

5. Maintain accurate site records, including attendance logs, permits, inspection registers, and site

folders.

Site & Installation Management

6. Manage and coordinate the installation of cleanroom systems, including:

o Modular cleanroom wall panels (e.g. Kingspan Precision, Versatile)

o Suspended grid ceilings (e.g. T50, T24 systems)

o Cleanroom doors and glazed systems

o Fan Filter Units (FFUs) (e.g. Astra, TripleAir)

o Cleanroom equipment, furniture, and associated fittings

7. Inspect all deliveries to site, ensuring materials are correct, undamaged, and compliant, with delivery

notes filed correctly.

8. Monitor workmanship standards of both direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring installations meet

specification and quality expectations.

9. Ensure the site is maintained in a clean, tidy, and controlled condition throughout the installation

period.
