Production / Operations Manager

We are an established home décor manufacturing operation with a well-established customer base supplying independent and multinational retailers. You would be responsible for a team of 50 personnel focused on meeting production targets, identifying efficiencies and maintaining strong operational systems. Co-ordinating all areas of the operation from pre-production through to logistics and reporting to the Managing Director.

Day to Day Involvement:

• Overseeing a busy light manufacturing operation.
• Maintaining KPI’s and Quality Controls.

• Managing personnel and seasonal requirements.
• Supporting and developing the management team.
• Managing production levels/ lead times/ deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Appointed H & S Manager.
• Negotiating and managing maintenance contracts.
• Forecasting and overseeing material replenishment.
• Managing Induction and training matrix.
• Overseeing external audits.

Requirements:

•  IOSH or Nebosh qualification.

•  Experience in light manufacturing.
•  Production or Operations managerial background.
•  Stable and progressive past employment record.
