Pin Property Consultancy is a family owned property developer and main contractor with a substantial commercial property portfolio. Based in South Manchester, we have overseen the development and refurbishment of office and industrial buildings totalling over 2 million sqft. Our sites are primarily located across the North West and West Midlands of England, with over 500,000 sqft of new build developments planned over the next 18–24 months.

We collaborate closely with our asset management company and supply chain partners to deliver innovative, bespoke, high quality solutions for both new build and refurbishment projects. M3 Construction Limited is renowned for delivering first class projects to a broad range of clients.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Contractor QS to join our development and construction team in Manchester. The role is permanent, with opportunities to work across new build, industrial, and other sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver day to day management of projects on site.
  • Close co-ordination with design teams and consultants.
  • Co-ordinate and collate contract award packages.
  • Develop project documentation, programmes, and master budgets.
  • Price and estimate project costs.
  • Maintain robust document control systems.
  • Ensure compliance with governance frameworks.
  • Monitor and report contractor progress against contract programmes.
  • Assist in ensuring consultant teams deliver design and build in compliance with contracts.
  • Develop work breakdown structures for cost estimating and contract placement.
  • Review and assess scope of works for contract packages.
  • Monitor all stages of work execution to provide accurate and professional services.

Ideal Candidate

  • Degree qualified.
  • Possesses or can obtain a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
  • Solid understanding of the construction industry and legal documentation.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience in civil or structural engineering, construction management, business or contract management, and quantity surveying.
  • Strong initiative, leadership skills, and verbal communication.
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, and able to build relationships effectively.
  • Experienced with construction management software.
  • Enjoys problem solving and providing flexible solutions for clients.
