Graduate Building Surveyor

We are looking for a motivated Graduate Building Surveyor to join our growing Building Consultancy team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early career professional to gain hands on experience across a wide range of surveying projects while working towards professional accreditation (RICS).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-acquisition building surveys and schedules of condition.
• Support planning and building regulation applications.
• Help manage design and refurbishment projects under senior guidance.
• Assist in contract administration and site monitoring.
• Conduct defect analysis and prepare technical reports.
• Support health and safety compliance on site, including CDM and DDA procedures.
• Liaise with sub-consultants and contractors, developing client facing communication skills.
• Learn to manage projects from inception through to completion under senior supervision.

About You

• Degree or near completion in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Ambitious, enthusiastic, and willing to learn.
• Good understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Interest in progressing towards RICS membership.
• Familiarity with software such as Pro-core or similar is a plus.
