Building Surveyor
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Preparing specifications, tendering, and providing contract administration services.
- Investigate site history, reviewing vendor information, commission searches and utility mapping
- Oversee development of the Architectural Design and Statutory Applications
- Oversee planning stages and sub-consultant reports such as, Flood, Noise, Geo-Environmental, Drainage strategy, Site remediation and travel
- Oversee and manage the Construction program
- Oversee administration of the build contracts, site progress monitoring and reporting through to completion and handover
- Manage all Subcontractor Procurement and orders
- Retain and strengthen existing client relationships
Minimum Requirements For This Role:
- Preferred qualified member of the RICS, ideally with a background in Building Surveying and Project Management
- Experience in Pre-acquisition Building Surveys and Schedules of Condition
- Planning and Building Regulation application familiarity.
- Experience in the design and refurbishment of buildings and administration of Building Contracts.
- Defect Analysis - Identifying & analysing building pathology, preparing technical reports.
- Experience in health and safety procedures, CDM and DDA.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
- Ability to produce clear and concise written reports and recommendations
- Client-Side project Management experience would be advantageous
- Have a minimum of 5 years Building Surveying experience with a project management background both pre and post contract
