Overview
We are seeking a commercially aware, and results-driven Waste Sales Advisor (Implant) to join our ever-growing hiredesk team. This role is crucial for driving revenue growth in spend by quick response times / price negotiation. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, target-focused environment, and possess a genuinely proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities
?? Sales & Business Development
- Opportunity Conversion: As an implant you will receive high levels of enquiries from our hiredesk, Your role is to source the best possible price & availability from a network of chosen suppliers.
?? Commercial Awareness
- Value Proposition: Help to create a clear proposition demonstrating a high level of customer service and environmental benefits of our waste solutions.
- Pricing Negotiation: Confidently negotiate pricing, while maintaining supplier relations.
?? Proactive Mindset
- Self-Starter: a high degree of autonomy and initiative is desirable due to the pace of the business.
- Problem-Solving: a proactive approach to understanding customer needs effectively and professionally.
- Continuous Improvement: Be open to feedback and constantly look for ways to improve.
- Sales Experience: in a target-driven sales role is desirable but not a must.
- Communication Skills: particularly the ability to engage customers over the phone.
- Outbound Calling: Must be comfortable making multiple outbound calls per day to sites to check access requirements/any specific needs and also our suppliers.
- Mindset: Demonstrates a proactive and energetic attitude towards work.
- Prior experience in waste management is desirable (but not Essential)
