CNC Operator / Setter

We are currently looking for a CNC Operator / Setter to join a busy manufacturing environment. This role involves setting and operating CNC machinery while maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, and health & safety. Training will be provided where required.

The Role:

You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machines, ensuring efficient production and consistent output to specification. Machines on site: AXYZ 3-Axis Flat Bed One operator running both machines

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and operate CNC machines in line with production requirements
• Run and manage two machines independently
• Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as required
• Carry out quality checks to ensure parts meet specification
• Complete pre-start checks and routine inspections
• Accurately record production data, materials, and tooling used
• Identify and report faults, defects, scrap, or breakdowns promptly
• Work to health & safety and quality standards at all times
• Maintain good housekeeping standards
• Support colleagues and liaise with other departments when required

Skills & Experience:

• Previous CNC Operator / Setter experience preferred
• Experience with AXYZ machines and 3-axis flat bed CNC advantageous
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Strong attention to detail in a production environment
