Manual Horizontal Borer setter/operator (1 Nights)

Candidate must:

  • Have experience of setting and operating manual horizontal boring machines or have a milling background.
  • Be able to work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy workpieces.
  • Have the ability to self-inspect.
  • Be willing to work overtime when needed.

 

CNC Horizontal Borer setter/operator/programmer (1 Days, 1 Nights)

Candidate must:

  • Have experience of setting, operating and programming CNC horizontal boring/milling machines using the Heidenhain control system.
  • Be able to work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy workpieces.
  • Have the ability to self-inspect.
  • Be willing to work overtime when needed.

 

CNC Hartford Horizontal Borer setter/operator/programmer (1 Nights)

Candidate must:

  • Have experience of setting, operating and programming CNC milling machines using the Fanuc control system (This machine also used Cimco CADCam or Fusion software for programming.)
  • Be able to work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy workpieces.
  • Have the ability to self-inspect.
  • Be willing to work overtime when needed.

 

Day shift:

Monday – Thursday: 08.00 – 16.30

Friday: 08.00 – 13.00

Totalling 37 paid hours.

30 minute unpaid lunch break Monday – Thursday, no lunch break on Friday.

Day shift are expected to achieve a minimum of 10 hours overtime per week.

Overtime is paid at T+1/3.

Sunday’s T+1/2.

 

Night shift:

Monday – Thursday: 18.00 – 06.00 (4 x 12 hours shifts) paid at T+1/3.

Paid lunch break.

Overtime available Friday after 13.00 as well as Saturday and Sunday. Overtime for night shift is paid at T+1/2.

 

Pay is skill dependent up to £20.00 per hour and is paid weekly each Friday.

 

We operate a Company pension with a total weekly contribution of 8% (5% employee, 3% employer), and we also have a bonus system based around Health and Safety that pays £250 every 6 months for those who have qualified.

 

Manual setter/operator: £15-18ph

CNC setter/operator: £17-20ph
