CCTV Installation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced CCTV Installation Engineer to join a specialist security systems team delivering high-quality surveillance solutions across secure and complex environments.

Role Overview:
You’ll be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of advanced CCTV and related security systems within correctional facilities. The role involves working with enterprise-level systems, including PTZ cameras, servers, and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and commission CCTV and security systems in secure environments (primarily prisons)
• Configure network switches, servers, and system software
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently
• Maintain compliance with site security and safety procedures
• Provide a high standard of workmanship and customer service

Requirements:

• Proven experience installing and commissioning enterprise CCTV systems
• Strong understanding of IP networking, switches, and server setup
• Ability to work independently and adhere to strict security protocols
• Full UK driving licence (vehicle provided)
• Eligibility for security vetting (prison clearance)

Details:

• Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Salary: £34,000 – £38,000 (depending on experience)
• Vehicle: Company van provided
