As an Estimator, you’ll play a vital role in the pre-construction phase of our civil projects. You'll be responsible for analysing tender documents, preparing accurate cost estimates, and contributing to successful bid submissions. This is a key role where attention to detail and industry experience are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil engineering projects.
• Review and assess tender documentation.
• Identify risks and opportunities within the scope of works.
• Work closely with the commercial and delivery teams to ensure smooth project handover.
• Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings when required.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes.
• Prepare bills of quantities and pricing documents.

Requirements:

• Strong experience as an Estimator
• Proficient in estimating software
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure, drainage, earthworks, and highways projects

Experience:

• Health & Safety Officer : 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• CSCS (preferred)
• Level 6 Health & Safety qualification (preferred)
• Driving license and access to own car (preferred)
