Hours: 07:30 – 17:30, Monday to Friday
Additional Hours: Saturday 07:30 – 12:00 on a rota basis
Pay: From £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our team in Levenshulme, Manchester. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for delivering high-quality servicing, maintenance, and technical support for our equipment and systems.
The successful candidate will be hands-on in diagnosing and repairing faults, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently. This role suits an experienced engineer with strong problem-solving skills, technical ability, and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment faults and breakdowns
- Carry out maintenance, repairs, and overhaul tasks as required
- Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance work
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers and colleagues
- Maintain accurate service records and reports
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Liaise effectively with customers and internal teams to plan and prioritise work
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in a service, maintenance, or engineering role
- Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills
- Practical experience with mechanical or hydraulic systems preferred
- Relevant technical certifications or engineering qualifications advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Previous experience in the hydraulic attachment industry is beneficial
