Hamann Care is urgently seeking a highly experienced Interim Registered Individual to lead the turnaround of a therapeutic children’s home that has been temporarily closed by Ofsted. This is a critical interim position, requiring strong leadership, deep regulatory knowledge, and a proven track record of driving rapid service improvement.

What You’ll Do
· Hold Ofsted registration as the Registered Individual
· Act as the bridge between the provider, Ofsted, local authorities, and professionals
· Lead compliance with Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards
· Oversee Regulation 44 & 45 reviews, quality audits, and action plans
· Mentor and support the Home Manager and operational team
· Ensure the home is safe, stable, and inspection-ready
· Support safer recruitment and training of the staff team
About You
· You’re an experienced Registered Individual or former Ofsted inspector
· You’ve turned around inadequate or closed homes before
· You’re confident with crisis leadership, safeguarding, and inspection frameworks
· You can lead independently and work on-site at least 3 days per week
· You’re immediately available and ready to hit the ground running
Desirable Extras
· Experience with trauma-informed or therapeutic care models
· Background in regulatory enforcement or legal representation
· Ability to engage with multi-agency professionals at senior level
Remuneration
· Full-time contract
· Minimum 3 days per week onsite in North West England
