Residential Support Worker – Children’s Homes

Location: Newcastle – NE3, NE4 & NE63
Salary: £12.52 - £12.77 per hour dependent on experience + £60 per sleep
Hours: Full-time, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins

A respected and growing provider of children’s residential care is looking for dedicated Residential Support Workers to join their team. Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day care and support
• Build positive, trusting relationships
• Support emotional, social, and educational development
• Help maintain a safe, structured setting
• Participate in activities and daily routines

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people – essential
• Must hold a full UK driving licence
• Calm, resilient, and empathetic approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible to work shifts, including sleep-ins
• NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or willingness to achieve it
