Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home, Liverpool

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead one of our children’s residential homes in Liverpool. Our organisation has been supporting young people across the North West for over 25 years, providing a range of services to help young people aged 10–18 with complex needs.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager looking for a new challenge. We are a family-focused organisation with a friendly and dedicated team, committed to helping young people achieve the best outcomes in life.

Role Overview:
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the leadership, direction, and management of the residential service. You will ensure the smooth running of the home, providing the highest level of care and support to the young people, while meeting and exceeding quality standards. Key responsibilities include staff management, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with all Ofsted regulations.

Key Requirements:

  • Significant experience in residential childcare settings; management experience is essential
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Registered Manager in a children’s residential care setting
  • Proven track record of achieving good outcomes with Ofsted
  • Strong managerial and leadership skills
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management, or willingness to work towards
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care
  • In-depth knowledge of EBD, SEMH, and other complex or challenging behaviours
