Job title Chiller Service & Install Engineer

Responsible for Managing the installation and service & repair of equipment on

site to a high standard.

The Cross Rental Services management team are armed with combined HVAC

experience of more than 35 years, along with a diverse skill set that includes IOSH

certification, FMCG experience & specialist environmental expertise.

Our boiler fleet has been designed & built in house which means we can offer a high

level of flexibility & quality, as well as a capability to provide solutions to almost any

sector or scenario & an unmatched capacity to service our clients.

Cross Rental Services' offer full project management, HAE certification & wide

environmental expertise - we offer an unmatched, total service.

Objectives of the role:

To manage and action the installation of hire Chillers, portable split units and AHU’s.

To service in the warehouse and on sites.

To attend breakdown calls.

To assist with the on call rota

To install other products as added to the range.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Installations

• Breakdowns

• Stock Hire ready re standards and accuracy

• Training staff on Chiller service and cooling related topics

• Compliance to SOPS

• Ensuring stock is ready for contracts that are going out for hire

• Use of company computer system to record service and breakdown

works

• Yard works to ensure stock is serviced

• Any other duties reasonably requested

Required Experience and Skills

Essential: FGAS

Good electrical understanding – able to read wiring diagrams and use

testing equipment to find and prove faults

Ability to be a self starter and have a ‘can do attitude’

Desirable: Oftec Qualified

Forklift Licence an advantage

Computer literate an advantage
