The Bid Writer will create high-quality tender submissions to support business growth and retain existing contracts. You’ll collaborate with internal teams to convey the organisation’s services effectively and meet deadlines. This is a hybrid role.

• Responsibilities
• Write and coordinate tender submissions for business opportunities in care, support, and housing.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure consistent messaging and meet deadlines.
• Address specification and evaluation requirements in submissions.
• Interpret and present data to support persuasive tender responses.
• Manage pre-qualifying questionnaires and use tender portals.
• Tailor responses to local needs using research and evidence.
• Work on service models, budgets, and pricing schedules.
• Track submission progress and deliver successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education (desirable).
• Proven success in bid writing (70% success rate minimum).
• Experience in bid writing or a similar role.
• Knowledge of health/social care, housing, or young people’s services (desirable).

Skills

• Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to present complex information clearly.
• Team player with strong IT literacy.
