Purpose of the role | To assist in the manufacturing waveguide components and systems. |

Duties and responsibilities | The role is well suited to someone with experience of working in a manufacturing environment who enjoys teamwork in a stimulating and engaging workplace. The processes involved will include but are not restricted to :- • Torch brazing and soldering of Brass, Copper and Aluminium. • Forming (bending and twisting) of waveguide tube. • Painting (Wet Spraying) • Silicone moulding and coating Cross training will be provided across all sections of the manufacturing process as employees are expected to be multi skilled to assist with meeting production targets.• To learn how to maintain workshop equipment and to keep it in good repair |

Skills | The role is varied and to a degree is flexible to an individual’s strengths. Training can be provided onsite. Desirable: Pipe bending Brazing Soldering Wet Spray Painting |
Experience & Knowledge | Have experience of using hand held tooling/ measuring equipment. Be familiar with working engineering drawings. Be used to working within ISO9001 quality systems. Training will be provided. |

Qualifications | 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English; however we do consider candidates who do not have these. |
