Site Engineer / Site Manager

Job Description

The role will primarily be - Setting out, levelling and dimensional control of a project. Managing on site health and safety, implementing, and maintaining group health and safety procedures. Consulting with consultants, designers, sub-contractors, and local authority bodies to ensure that the project meets specification and is completed on programme. Working closely with the Quantity surveyor to ensure budget control. We are looking for a site engineer with ambitions to work their way up through the construction management pathway. This an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our commercial construction division – Jones Contracts – part of the Emerson Group.

Requirements

Experience in site engineering – 5 years.

Experience in management – 3 years.

Relevant qualifications – SMSTS, CSCS, Street works, Confined Spaces ETC.

Organisational skills and a methodical approach to work.

Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Accuracy and attention to detail.

Strong teamworking mentality.

Flexibility.

Package

Salary -  To be confirmed dependant on experience ETC.

Pension – Contributary, starting at 4% of Salary.

Holidays - 20 days per year excluding bank holidays, rising to twenty-five after 5 years’ service.

Car user allowance / Company vehicle – To be confirmed.
