JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: Quality Control Inspector

RESPONSIBLE TO: Quality Manager for: Hours of work, disciplinary and grievance issues,

Work load and allocation

DUTIES: The quality inspector will be part of a quality control team interacting with the operations department to ensure quality standards are met that maintain customer satisfaction of both our products and end users.

 To carry out formal evaluation and inspection checks of machine products to manufacturing procedure and quality standards, at first off, patrol and final inspection.

Ensure all measurements and checks are recorded correctly where applicable.

Identifying and reacting to quality problems.

Raise any quality issues with the appropriate personnel.

Agreement on the feasibility to rework, whilst identifying and implementing corrective action.

Liaise with internal departments to ensure high quality products are produced.
